Moodle 2.4 On UsbWebServer 8.5

1) Download UsbWebserver 8.5.

2) Download Moodle 2.4.

Alternatively download a pre-packed UsbWebServer 8.5+Moodle 2.4

3) Extract UsbWebserver to root, e.g C:\USBW\...

4) Extract Moodle 2.4 to C:\USBW\ROOT\moodle1\...

5) Run UsbWebServer. Unblock firewall for Apache and MySQL if required.


6) In UsbWebServer Control Panel, Click PhpMyAdmin to create Moodle 2.4 Database.




7) Login using root/usbw credential.




8) Create database moodle1 with UTF8 collation type.





9) In UsbWebServer Control Panel, Click localhost.




10) Browse URL localhost/moodle1/ (automatically you will be redirect to install.php).
Click Next.




10a) Confirm Application Path.
Click Next.



10b) Set Database Driver.




10c) Set Database Access Details.





10d) Agree to terms.
Click Continue.



10e) Passed System Requirement check.



10f) Wait for installation process to run. It may take few minutes.




10g) When installation is done, click Continue.



11) Configure Admin Details. Click Update Profile.



12) Front Page Setting.
Type the site name.
Click Save.




13) Installation process completed.
You are logged in as System Administrator.
